About

I am currently a Software Engineer at a satellite communications startup.
I became interested in satellite communications working as an undergraduate research assistant under the mentorship of Dr. Whitney Lohmeyer. During this time I published four papers on various topics in satellite communications and spectrum policy. I also led the ground station team for the SWARM-EX cubesat mission.
I studied applied math in undergrad. Some of my favorite classes were Abstract Algebra, Number Theory, and Real Analysis. During undergrad I built the following math-related projects: satellite image compression using the SVD and convolutional autoencoders, hamming (7,4) error correction codes (ecc) on hardware, and text analysis using latent semantic analysis. I also gave talks on linear regression from scratch and matrix calculus. Since I graduated I have given talks on Cayley digraphs of groups and self-studied elementary probability theory.
I also like to run. I ran 767.4 miles (1235 km) in 2025.
